A Ballad! Really, I mean this not something you always hear me play, but I DIG playing this style from time to time because it opens up so many possibilities of improvising.
Of course the use of space, and what I call flurry of quicker passages, always is a nice contrast to the fast bop I love and play regularly.
I think an accomplished player should be able to burn some space in a ambient way.
