Lazy Bird is the word today. I mean really what is not to like about this classic John Coltrane standard.
The melody is upbeat and of course outlines the fast moving changes incredibly well. And speaking of the changes - THE CHANGES. Fun and simple yet really giving our chops a work out with the chromatic approach that Trane so loved during this time period.
